Crystal joined QIC in April 2007, playing a key role in building the program from its inception
in late 2005. She now leads the Brisbane-based team focusing on Asia Pacific opportunities,
particularly in Australia and China, across direct investment, fund, and co-investment.
Crystal is part of the QPE Leadership Team and Investment Committee and leads the
investment mandates for the Queensland Venture Capital ecosystem.

Crystal has worked globally, from European buyouts to Venture and Growth, and established
QIC’s secondary market coverage and process, leading several acquisitions and
divestments. She has driven the development of the investment strategy and portfolio in
China, which constitutes about one-third of QIC’s exposure. She sits on various fund
advisory boards and as an observer or board member of investee companies.

Before joining QIC, Crystal was a Senior Analyst at Ernst & Young in Transaction Advisory
Services and Corporate Tax. She also worked as a consultant at McKewin & Associates.
Crystal is a Board member of the Australian Investment Council and is committed to
promoting Diversity & Inclusion in the Private Equity industry, serving on several related
industry committees.
