The Inaugural Brisbane-based Portfolio Construction Event

The Investment Committee is designed to deliver a robust framework for portfolio construction to support financial advice professionals.

The format of The Investment Committee is similar to an actual Investment Committee. It will cover Investment Philosophy & Beliefs, Asset Class long-run views, Portfolio Construction, and Manager selection.

Each session will be delivered by leading experts in their fields from academia, research, and funds management.

During the day, delegates will be asked to vote on their own asset class views following relevant presentations. All voting will be anonymous using our conference-specific app.

At the end of the day, The Investment Committee will unveil an investment portfolio based on collated delegate votes and this portfolio will be available for attendees. A tangible take-away that can be used within practice and will serve as a benchmark for future events.
